Privacy Policy

Last updated: to be completed at launch.

Accès Infirmières ("we", "our") is committed to protecting the personal information of visitors to this website and of people who contact our clinic. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and how you can exercise your rights, in accordance with Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25) and the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

This policy covers only the accesinfirmieres.ca website. It does not cover the health information collected during your clinic appointments, which is governed by our nurses' professional records and the obligations of the Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers du Québec (OIIQ).

1. What information we collect

This is a static website, with no user accounts and no advertising tracking. We collect personal information only when you provide it to us directly:

  • Contact form: name, email, phone number, general reason for your request. The form explicitly asks you not to describe any medical condition.
  • Email or phone: your contact details and the content of your communications when you write or call us directly.
  • Job applications (Career pages): name, contact details, resume, diplomas, professional licenses, and any other documents you choose to submit for a job application.

We do not collect your IP address, browsing history, or geolocation through this site: no analytics or third-party tracking tool is installed (see our Cookie Policy).

2. Why we collect this information

  • To respond to your inquiries or appointment requests.
  • To evaluate applications received for an open position.
  • To comply with our legal obligations, where applicable.

We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.

3. Online appointment booking

The "Book an appointment" button takes you to Clixibook (clixibook.ca), an external appointment-booking service. Information you provide there is governed by Clixibook's own privacy policy, not this one. We invite you to review it directly on their site.

4. Retention period

We retain information submitted through the contact form for as long as necessary to process your request, then delete it. Unsuccessful job applications are kept for a reasonable period for future openings, then deleted.

5. Your rights

Under Law 25 and PIPEDA, you have the right to:

  • access the personal information we hold about you;
  • have any inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated information corrected;
  • request the deletion of your personal information, subject to our legal retention obligations;
  • withdraw your consent to the collection or use of your information, at any time.

To exercise these rights, contact our privacy officer (details below).
